There have been reports doing the rounds that yesteryear heroine Charmila is currently leading a life full of miseries. It was rumoured that the actress is facing financial issues and that she is being hospitalized at Kilpauk Government hospital, Chennai, with no one to support.

In a recent interview to a popular Malayalam daily, the talented actress clarified that the reports are baseless. Charmila recently had a bone injury and had sought treatment at a government hospital in Tamil Nadu. Talking about the incident, Charmila said that she chose a govenment hospital as they provide insurance cards for everyone.

She also added that it wasn’t necessary for her to opt for a bigger private hospitals as she was happy with the treatment received in Kilpauk. The actress agreed that she had nobody else to assist her during the treatment, and that she sought support from the helpers at the hospitals.

Charmila, who was at the peak of her career during the early 90s, is living with her aged mom and 11 years old son. The gorgeous actress who has been away from movies after her wedding made a comeback in Mollywood with the Dulquer Salmaan starrer ‘Vikramadithyan’. The actress is currently seen in Gautham Menon’s web series on Jayalalithaa titled ‘Queen’. Charmila appears as Jayalalithaa’s grandmother in the series.
