Charmi: Down or out ?

She is one of the naturals of the countless heroines in our industry. Charmi wowed us with her portrayal of a petrified woman hunted down by some unknown bodies wanting her to die in Anaganaga Oka Roju. Whenever she shook her legs for peppy numbers in the films of Krishna Vamsi (Sri Anjaneyam) or to the tunes of DSP (Mass), she had the audience in thrall.
If only she had got right films, Charmi would be occupying top slot today. She has got more number of fans than most of her contemporaries. Bad luck had her way, which is why he got one too many woefully mediocre films her way.
Sundarakanda, Manorama, Sye Aata and Mangala were expected to bail her out. Dongala Mutha, Nagaram Nidurapotunna Vela and Mayagadu, all released in 2011, have failed her.
Bapu and Osho Tulasiram could not give her the much-needed hit. She has her hopes pinned on V Samudras Sevakudu.
The talented belle, who can be voluptuous as well as a beautiful actress, waits her chance. When is it going to come.
Or, is she out?
