Jyothi Lakshmi is slated for a release on June 12th and even before the release, Charmi stated that the film is going to have a sequel and Puri Jagannadh already started working on the script.

Puri Jagannadh also announced sequels for his films like 'Pokiri', 'Businessman' and 'Temper'. But they didn't materialize. We will have to wait and see if he directs 'Jyothi Lakshmi 2' or not.
