Prakash Raj is as peripatetic as a Siberian crane. A Kanadiga by birth, the talented actor began his career in Tamil, moved on to Malayalam and is now hugely sought-after in Telugu.

So when he has started making films on his own, it has been a difficult decision to decide on the language.

But charity, for him, has begun elsewhere. He is not making them in his home language (Kannada) or in his present home (Telugu). Instead, he has plumped for Tamil in which he has already made two films.

His third, Azhagiye Thiye, is slated for release this week.
