There is something that is common between Ram Charan and Allu Sirish. This IIFA season, they both pushed the envelope for good. If Cherry did a performance for three songs, something not common for a male South Indian actor, and definitely unheard of as far as Telugu actors are concerned, Sirish created a trend by hosting the show along with Regina Cassandra and Navdeep.

Sirish admittedly wanted to be a host for long and IIFA Utsavam just came as an opportunity for him. When he was to many national and international award functions, he was impressed by Bollywood's big names hosting them (for example, Shah Rukh Khan) and even cracking jokes about themselves (for example, Karan Johar) and others.

As a host, Sirish has already received appreciation from none other than Megastar Chiranjeevi. Besides, Ravi Teja and Harish Shankar have sent him a message appreciating him for the show. Sirish is pretty happy that those who didn't know that he can mimic voices have come to know about this talent of his now.

As for Ram Charan, by performing for three songs, he has clearly indicated that he is game for entertaining the audiences at prestigious events like these.
