Even before 'Express Raja' hit the screens in January, Ram Charan had been mooting working with director Merlapaka Gandhi. He waited for the film's result and when it was hit, he decided to work with Gandhi. While Cherry's immediate next project is going to be with Sukumar (the untitled flick will go on the floors sometime in November), the flick after this one will be the one directed by Gandhi.

It's learnt that the director is mooting 'Mega Express' as the title. After all, the word 'Express' has been a leit motif as far as Gandhi's films are concerned. 'Venkatadri Express' and 'Express Raja' were both hits, and the director is poised to deliver his third hit. May the 'Express' sentiment work.

The director is currently involved in fine-tuning the script. For Gandhi, this one is a big-ticket one because the hero is Mega Power Star. From working with Sundeep Kishan and Sharwanand, he has come a long way for sure.
