Speaking at a 'Sye Raa' event in Bengaluru on Sunday evening, Megastar Chiranjeevi claimed that the budget of the much-awaited historical is Rs 300 Cr. He made the remark while talking about his son's guts as a producer.

"I am proud of Ram Charan. I have worked with a number of producers in the 41 years of my career. But my son will always be my No. 1 producer because it's he who came forward and invested Rs 300 Cr on 'Sye Raa'," Chiru said. (Last year, Charan had said that the film's budget is Rs 200 Cr).

"When Charan did 'Magadheera', I was kind of jealous of him as he had got to do a costume drama. With 'Sye Raa', I have done it," he added.

"Every father wants to make his son a star. In a reversal, here my son has worked hard to give me the best. I am proud of my son and he is my biggest achievement," Chiru said.

Directed by Surender Reddy, 'Sye Raa' will release on October 2.
