The Magic Mike Mess: Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan's Divorce Drama Deepens

Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan are still locked in one of the nastiest, longest-running legal battles in Hollywood, with no end in sight more than six years after they announced their split.
The estranged pair remains at odds over financial settlements, notably profits from Tatum's Magic Mike franchise.
Documents show that this has drawn the other into a preliminary witness list for an apparently planned trial. The documents indicate that the upcoming witness round will address matters related to property, reimbursement, support, breach of fiduciary duties, and legal fees.
Jenna's representative said she wanted an equitable solution under California state law. Jenna seeks closure on this chapter of her life promptly, the rep shared.
While efforts for the settlement have spanned over five years, sources close to Tatum allege Dewan's inconsistent stances are dragging out the legal ordeal.
He told the camp that Dewan insists the divorce be final very quickly because she wants to be done with things before her upcoming husband, Steve Kazee, walks down the aisle.
Central to the dispute is the division of profits from Tatum's Magic Mike intellectual property. Dewan insists that these were things worked on between the two of them during the duration of their marriage, while Tatum puts forward his considerable post-marriage contribution to the product. Tatum's attorney lists his ex-wife as witnesses, along with business partners and filmmaker Steven Soderbergh.
The 10-year-old daughter, Everly, co-parents them both, despite the legal wrangling. Dewan is engaged to Kazee and expecting his second child, while Tatum is engaged to Zoe Kravitz.
