In order to avail the tax exemption announced by the State government for movies titled in Tamil, several producers and directors are caught in deep research choosing a Tamil title for their films. In the last couple of months, over a dozen movies were rechristened.

Cofee Shop is the latest movie to have its titled changed. Starring Sherin in the lead role, the movie is directed by Kannathirae Thondrinal fame Ravichandran.

Initially we titled the film as Coffee Shop. Now the title is changed to ou (meaning Pillayar Suzhi in Tamil).

Says Ravichandran, "We begin all the work only after putting Pillayar Suzhi. Children till the elders in the family know the significance of Pillayar Suzhi. Any good deed should be commenced with a Pillayar Suzhi."

It stars 'Kodambakkam' fame Nandha and Sherin in the lead roles. The movie is a true account of events faced by a man between 18 and 27 years in his life. It is not an off-beat film or a different cinema, Ravichandran, says and adds, "It is a movie which would keep the audience glued to their seats."

An elated Nandha says, "I am hopeful of getting back on right track with the movie".
