On Monday we hear the news of two films ‘Chandra and Charminar’ changing hands. Both started simultaneously. For both the films lovely star Premkumar is the common factor.

‘Charminar’ is now in the hands of director R Chandru. It is ‘R Chandru Films’ banner the film will be completed and released. Earlier producer Manjunath a close friend of R Chandru backed out as the demand of money was high. R Chandru settled the accounts of his friend. He got push from financiers to take the film in his hands to release.

'Charminar' starring Premkumar and beautiful Meghana Gaonkar has completed 32 days of shooting and came before the media with lot of experience to disclose.

Completing the two schedule of shooting director R Chandru ismoving to Bidar, Bijapur, Sakleshpur and other locations for the songs, three days of shoot will be held in USA. The opening song for protagonist is shot there and in the ancient places like Hemagiri, Srirangapatna the sets were erected for the film disclosed R Chandru. There is anxiety and excitement in taking over the film to my side adds R Chandru. Chandru is of the opinion that the qualities of Shivarajakumar is there in Premkumar. He is so punctual and down to earth like Shivarajakumar he complimented. At Hemagiri a school was selected for shoot. It will be definitely a flash back for everyone who watch the film.

Lovely star is going back to 20 years of his life to look the 10th to 12th standard guy. He is shaving his moustache and look has to be thin and boyish. He is working on those particular portions. According to lovely star Premkumar the small speech at this place keeps the 'Teacher' in highest esteem. Premkumar remembered the song Kanna Haniyo Jaruva Munna…. At this song shooting the tears were so natural in my eyes and also that of Meghana Gaonkar and director R Chandru. The particular attitude and definite thinking in R Chandru is glorious disclosed Premkumar.

Meghana Gaonkar in her fourth Kannada film says she is fortunate to be a part of the big league. I have taken 29 takes for a particular limited smile. I had no qualms and director Chandru definite approached moved me she said.

It was a learning experience stated second heroine Kumudha. Cameraman Chandrasekhar in his14th film stated that he is in all the five films of director R Chandru.
