My father pooh-poohed my ability as a young age. When I called him and said I am getting state award for my film, he is baffled on what it is. State award is double dhamaka for me. I am director and producer of the film Charminar` in Kannada.

R Chandru has an offer to go to Hindi cinema. In August he has a big Telugu project. In this March he is coming up with a big star cast Kannada cinema.

On February 7, Male` audio release is planned in Hassan district. On January 31 Telugu film Krishnamma Kalipindi` is set for release. Meanwhile on Sunday at Vijayawada the Telugu film of R Chandru audio is hitting the market. Victory Venkatesh is the chief guest of this audio release event.
