It was recently that a Thiruvananthapuram native woman had made a complaint at the munsif court about the movie 'Chandrettan Evideya' starring Dileep in the lead. The case was that she was getting unwanted calls in her mobile after the movie's release. Apparently, her number is the same as that of the character essayed by Namitha Pramod's number in the movie.

With the case coming up in the court, the movie's producers has taken an interesting decision to withstand the case. They have sated before the court that they are stopping the movie's exhibition at the theaters. The respondants to this case are the producers including Aashique Usman, Sameer Thahir, Shyju Khaleed and director Siddarth Bharathan.
