Following a technical snag, the Chandrayaan 2 launch was called off on July 15th. Just 56 minutes before the scheduled departure, the Indian Space and Research Organisation (ISRO) had taken to Twitter to inform that the launch would not take place. Now, the revised date has been announced. ISRO has said that the liftoff will take place on Monday, 22 July 2019 at 2.43 pm IST.
In a tweet, they shared: “Chandrayaan-2 launch, which was called off due to a technical snag on July 15, 2019, is now rescheduled at 2:43 pm IST on Monday, July 22, 2019. #Chandrayaan2 #GSLVMkIII #ISRO.” They also expressed gratitude for the faith shown in them.
