Chandramukhi-2 to have Anushka

Many years ago, P Vasu wished to make a sequel to Chandramukhi. Nagavalli was made with Venkatesh and Anushka as the lead pair and the same came with the caption Chandramukhi-2. The film turned out to be a flop as the audience felt that it was more of a repetition of what they had seen. That Bellamkonda Suresh-produced film has not been remembered as Chandramukhi-2, by the way.

The news is that a film with this title will finally be made by P Vasu. The director is currently making Shiva Linga with Sivaraj Kumar as the hero. The film will be remade into Tamil with Lawrence. Anushka is said to have been okayed for the role of the female lead. Vadivelu, who was seen in the 2005 horror film will be seen in this film.

Anushka is currently doing Baahubali and will later act in Ashok's Bhagmathi. It has to be seen if P Vasu hits the bull's eye with this remake in Tamil.
