Raghava Lawrence has made two massive announcements and the biggest is that his next movie is 'Chandramukhi 2' directed by P. Vasu which is the sequel to Superstar Rajinikanth's career-best hit 'Chandramukhi' released in 2005. He has stated that the Thalaivar has given him permission and blessings to act in the film.

Raghava Lawrence's next massive announcement is that Sun Pictures is bankrolling the project and with the advance money for it he has pledged to donate rupees three crores for the coronavirus relief funds. The breakup is 50 Lakhs to Prime Minister's relief fund, 50 Lakhs to Chief Minister relief fund, 50 Lakhs to FEFSI, 50 Lakhs to Dancers Union, 25 lakhs to physically disabled children and 75 lakhs to daily labourers and the people of his birth place Royapuram.
