Superstar Rajinikanth's 'Chandramukhi' produced by Sivaji Productions and directed by P. Vasu was one of the biggest hits ever in his career. After 18 years since its release 'Chandramukhi 2' is under production with the same director but several changes in the cast including Raghava Lawrence replacing Rajini in the lead.

It is already well known that top Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut is the main female lead in 'Chandramukhi 2' and she is currently shooting for her portions in Mumbai along with the other cast members. Meanwhile Lakshmi Menon who is also playing a major role in the film has posted a photo of herself donning makeup as Chandramukhi. The pic has raised speculations whether there are not one but two Chandramukhi's in the sequel.

Additional info is that Lakshmi Menon will be playing a differently-abled person in the film who will transform herself as Chandramukhi later and her character will be a surprise package. The film produced by Lyca Productions contains the top notch cast of Raghava Lawrence, Kangana Ranaut, Lakshmi Menon, Mahima Nambiar, Radhika Sarathkumar, Vadivelu, Ravi Maria, Srushti Dange, TM Karthik, and Suresh Menon.
