Raghava Lawrence’s sequel to superstar Rajinikanth’s blockbuster Chandramukhi started shooting in Mysore from Jul and the latest update was that the first schedule of the movie was wrapped today.

Radhika Sarathkumar who is playing a vital roleint he movei shared a video from the sets and wrote, First schedule wrap #Chandramukhi2 nothing but high energy with @offl_Lawrence #vadivelu on #Pvasu s sets @LycaProductions". In the video, Vadivelu, Radhika and Lawrence were having a gaala time with each other. The funny video is currently going viral on social media platforms.

According to the sources, there are five female leads - Lakshmi Menon, Mahima Nambiar, Manjima Mohan, Srushti Dange and Subiksha Krishnan in 'Chandramukhi 2'. MM Keeravani will be scoring music for the movie while RD Rajasekhar handles the camera and Thotta Tharani takes care of the production design.

Chandramukhi, released in 2005, was borderline experimental for its use of combining thriller elements with the mass hero moments typically seen in a Rajini film. It subverted all expectations to become a massive box office success, running for a record-shattering 890 days in theatres. Now the expectation for the second part of this hit movie has already sky rocketed.
