With just under a week to go for the release of the much expected 'Chandramukhi 2' director P Vasu has made the shocking revelation that 450 shots from the footage were missing.
'Chandramukhi 2' is the sequel to the all time blockbuster 'Chandramukhi' released in 2005 starring Superstar Rajinikanth, Prabhu, Jyothika, Nayanthara and Vadivelu in lead roles. The new movie has the fresh casting of Raghava Lawrence and Bollywood diva Kangana Ranaut in the lead with Vadivelu the sole cast member from the original returning as Murugesan. The film was originally slated to release on September 15th, but it was suddenly shifted to September 28th.
In the recent press conference P. Vasu explained suddenly a week before the film's original release date the computer graphics technicians said 450 shots were missing. "We were shocked not knowing what to do, we looked for it in many places. 150 technicians were tasked with searching for it. After that we got the footage after four or five days. That is why the release date of this film had to be postponed" said the veteran.
