Directed by Sivashakti Datta and produced by Dr Haranath Policharla on the banner of PH Films, 'Chandrahaas' with Haranath himself playing the hero, Astha Singhal as heroine, Nata Sekhara Super Star Krishna in a special role is getting ready for release soon.

It is learnt that the film was made with a historical backdrop and correlating it with the present day atmosphere. In fact, 'Chandrahaas' is the name of a sword gifted by Tuljapur Bhavani Mata to Chatrapati Sivaji.

If the sword surfaces again and somebody gains the historical sword the situation would be very dangerous. Especially the situation would be worse if the sword gets into the hands of anti-social elements.

The story was woven around these topics. Dr Haranath is playing the role of the 16th heir of Sivaji's clan. Super Star Krishna is appearing in the role of Sivaji in a flashback episode.

The film which has these many specialities is all set for release on June 22.
