In the month of July, Pasupaleti Venkata Ramana had announced a film titled as 'Chandrodayam'. An alleged biopic on the AP CM, the film has a twist though.
Done with 75 per cent of the shoot, the film won't feature a single character who plays Chandrababu Naidu. It's neither a biopic in full sense of the term, nor is it a docu-drama. Four youngsters, who are all journalists, get inspired to know about the journey of Babu right from his childhood. The Chief Minister's character will be seen only through their learnings and discoveries, a report says.
The director, who has written several books on Babu, his vision and policies, has said that 'Chandrodayam' is being made as a commercial entertainer.
Music-directed by Raj Kiran, the film has BGM by Vandemataram Srinivas. Some well-known character artistes like Brahmanandam and Tanikella were roped in initially. It has to be seen if they really came on board.
The film will be ready by October. However, it may not hit the screens before December.
