Nara Chandrababu Naidu, the hon'ble Chief Minister of AP, conveyed his best wishes to Nandamuri Balakrishna and director Krish on the launch of the film Gautamiputra Satakarni. He called up the actor-director duo hours after the film was launched in the presence of the Chief Minister of Telangana yesterday in Hyderabad.

CBN reportedly said that the legend of Satakarni, who was a great Telugu emperor, must be projected and that making a film on his life and times was a great attempt. Although CBN had to attend the function, he couldn't do so owing to other priorities and important commitments.

This one being Balayya's 100th film, it has attracted attendance/comments from two CMs, and the presence of Tollywood's biggest biggies like Chiranjeevi during its launch.

Meanwhile, the pre-production works are going at a brisk pace.
