Chandra Haasan the man who was a pillar of strength for Kamal Haasan just passed away leaving a great void in the Ulaganayagan's life. Like his younger and elder brothers, daughter and niece, Chandra Haasan too has acted in a new movie and that too as a hero which is in post production.

The romantic comedy is titled 'Appathava Attaya Pottutaanga' and it is about an old man (Chandra Haasan) and woman (Shiela, the mother of Vikranth and aunt of Vijay) who fall in love at a elderly home. The story details about how the relatives of the senior citizens go against this unusual love. Delhi Ganesh, Kathadi Ramamoorthy, Shanmuga Sundaram and Jaya Rao are the others in the cast for the film directed by Stephen Rangaraj and produced by GB Studios and Leo Vision. Efforts are on to release the film soon.
