Many Kollywood stars have joined the pro-Jallikattu campaign. but the women among them is just two. Actor and politician Khushbu has been tweeting in support Jallikattu and young heroine Nivetha Pethuraj has changed her Twitter profile with a poster that calls for lifting the ban on Jallikattu.
Now another young and promising Tamil heroine has joined the brigade. Chandini Tamilarasan who has acted in films like 'Siddhu Plus Two', 'Vil Ambu' and in Vijay Sethupathi's 'Kavan' directed by K.V.Anand has just expressed her opinion in favour of Jallikattu.
Chandini has not just stopped with a Tweet, but she has released a video in which she says, "Apart from celebrations, Jallikattu, the traditional sport of Tamil Nadu is an important part of the Pongal festival. For certain reasons it has been banned now. I thank all the youngsters who supported Jallikattu. As youngsters it is our duty to protect our tradition. If we fail to do that now it will become extinct in future. I humbly request the Central Government to remove the ban on Jallikattu."
