'Chandi' is the story of a young woman who fights for her dead father and for the village which he was the protector for. The Priya Mani starrer produced by Dr. G. Sreenu Babu in V. Samudra's direction is all set to hit the screens on Friday, the 8th November. Krishnam Raju is playing Ashoka Gajapathi Raju and another powerful role is being played by Sarath Kumar.

Producer Srinu Babu said ‘We planned to release it before but due to technical difficulties, we were forced to postpone to a suitable date. Now, we are finally releasing it on the 8th. Priya Mani will stand out Chandi and this film will earn laurels for her too. Audio has garnered tremendous response and market is quite pumped up to receive the film. Veteran actor Krishnam Raju said ‘The makers were daring enough to have a lady in the hero’s role and Priya did a commendable job of it too.
