A hot debate is running among the political and film industry circles that whether the present political crisis in state Congress would benefit the Praja Rajyam and its supremo Chiranjeevi.

While some of the political analysts opine that the chances were bright for Chiranjeevi to make a mark in the state politics and some feel that he might be invited by the Congress high command to join the government and extend its support.

This observation was made in the wake of the proposed CLP meet to be held on Wednesday night. In case, the Congress Legislature Party makes any adverse comments against the Y.S. Jaganmohan Reddy, son of the late chief minister Y.S. Rajasekhar Reddy, in the backdrop of the adverse comments made against Sonia Gandhi in his newspaper and TV channel ‘Sakshi’, there is every chance for him to come out of Congress on his own or the Congress itself could suspend him or push him out.

If that had happened, the staunch supporters of YSR would also leave the party along with Jagan throwing the Congress government into a minority government with the resignation of Jagan supporters numbering around 30 to 40 MLAs and some among them are ministers.

To save the party, the Congress high command may seek help of the Praja Rajyam party and invite Chiranjeevi to join the government by wooing him with the post of Deputy Chief Minister.

Let us wait and watch the outcome of CLP meeting by tonight.
