Chanakya
After Hey, Sarath Kumar and Venkatesh team up again for Chanakya, expected to be a full-fledged enterprising action-filled pot-boiler.
Sarath dons the role of a autodriver. On the film, Sarath says,Thanks to director Venkatesh and producer Vishwas Sundar. Chanakya has come out well. It would be a movie to relish in my career'.
Namitha, who played Sarath's heroine in Hey, gets a typical role in Chanakya. Besides stunts, the highlight of the movie is a song crooned by Sarath Kumar himself set to tunes by Srikanth Deva.
Speaking on the film, Venkatesh says , 'the character had to be one among the crowd. If one saw the raw physique power in Hey, you will see the other facet of the actor - outsmarting others with his thinking power in Chanakya. The grandeur will floor you.'
Vishwas Sundar, who had produced movies including Vijay-starrer Puthiya Geethai and the horror flick Adhu with Sneha in the lead, says, 'I am impressed with the story line of Chanakya and am confident that this combination (Sarath and Venkatesh) would strike it rich.'
Chanakya will be a September release.
