'Chalo' could well turn out to be Naga Shourya's most authentic box office hit ever. While it's yet to break-even, the prospects are huge this season, especially with 'Touch Chesi Chudu' proving to be a damp squib.

On Day 1, 'Chalo' mopped up a share of more than Rs. 1 Cr. The momentum seems to have been retained by the Venky Kudumula directorial. In the US, its gross now stands at USD 394,000. The entertainer is set to cross USD 400,000 in some time. This is so despite a largely limited release.

The film had carried good vibes among trade circles right from the beginning. "Our film has got sold out in all centers. We are releasing it on our own in Nizam area. Even Hindi dubbed rights have got sold," Naga Shourya said in an interview before its release.
