B-town is famous for star clashes, corporate bid for upper hand in box office shares, cat fights.. come June 13 the battle for supremacy will take a new turn as two women producers Fatema Zaheer Mehdi (Alimoh Films) and Ashwini Yardi (Grazing Goat) will fight each other for maximum shares at the box office with their films Chal Bhaag and Fugly respectively.

Normally the tinsel town hears off cat fights amongst its female brigade but here the ladies are in serious business and hoping to get maximum attention for their movies at the box office.

Fatema Zaheer Mehdi is making her debut with ‘Chal Bhaag’ coming under Alimoh Films banner - this action comedy directed by Prakash Saini stars Deepak Dobriyal, Keeya Khanna, Sanjay Mishra, Yashpal Sharma & Mukesh Tewari.

Fatema Zaheer Mehdi is confident about her debut as a producer and feels that they have an entertaining product in hand citing the example of last week releases Kochadaiiyaan, Heropanti, and the Hollywood X Men Days Of Future Past all the three managed to attract its audience caused it had something for the target audience similarly Fatema is confident that the same trend will continue on June 13 and there will be a healthy competition thanks to Chal Bhaag youthfully funny appeal.

Ashwini Yardi is also sharing the same sentiments and is hoping ‘Fugly’ directed by Kabir Sadanand starring Jimmy Shergill, Mohit Marwah, Kiara Advani, Arif Lamba, and introducing India’s boxing ace Vijender Singh receives the audience grace...

Though the industry trade pundits give ‘Fugly’ an edge and when quipped Fatema the producer of Chal Bhaag on this she first gave best wishes to Ashwini Yardi and said ‘it’s the audience to decide who turns out to be the best player’ but I am hoping result similar to Special Chabbis and ABCD where both the films got the patronage of the audience.. ABCD starring Prabudeva, K K Menon in lead had a smaller star value compared to Akshay Kumar huge star status but that didn,t effect the movies prospects at the box office and both turned out to be winners..

Fatema has a point it’s the content that wins and looking at the confidence of ‘Chal Bhaag’ people the audience may run to the theatres while the industry will be keenly watching how intense this first ever battle of b-town woman producers - ‘Chal Bhaag’, ‘Fugly’ takes shape..
