Chakri's career takes a new turn

Chakravarthi, with his brooding eyes and sexy beard, couldn't really make it as an actor. But he has not let that bother him. With a mentor like Ram Gopal Varma, he also need not. Chakravarthi is these days busy acting in Varma's films and also directing them.
Varma who is making a comeback to Tollywood is relying on Chakravarthi.
Chakri is the point man for Varma in Hyderabad. For his latest Telugu movie, Madhyahnam Hatya, which is complete and is in the post-production stage now, Chakri is handling the show at Hyderabad. So impressed is Varma with Chakri that he has allowed him to direct two films under his own banner.
The mentor-protg relationship of course continues in the Hindi film Vasthu Shastra. Produced by Varma and directed by Saurabh Narang, the film features Chakri in the lead opposite the sizzling Sushmita Sen.
Perhaps Varma and Chakri were Drona and Arjun in their previous births.
