Chakri Tholeti to direct Kamal once again

The 'bhangima' boy from Sagara Sangamam, who directed Kamal Hassan and Venkatesh in Eenadu, is all set to direct the 'Universal Hero' yet another time. The film will be produced by Aascar Ravichandran, and the script is being prepared by none other than Kamal.

The film will go on the floors after Kamal is done with everything, including promotional tours for Vishwaroopam. Kamal and Ravichandran were keen on roping in Shankar to direct this movie. However, since Shankar wants to make a movie with his own story, he declined the offer.

As the offer went to Chakri, the young director immediately lapped it up. He shares very good rapport with Kamal. On the other hand, he has now the experience of directing Ajith in Billa2, which is a grand summer release in Tamil Nadu. (It is releasing in April).

Puri-Pawan film launched today, to release on Oct 18

Cameraman Ganga Tho Rambabu was launched at Puri Jagannadh’s office today. A puja ceremony was held in the presence of Pawan Kalyan, and the event was attended by Allu Arjun among others. Produced by DVV Danayya, the film will go on the floors come May. SS Rajamouli gave the clap to the first shot. Besides, Bandla Ganesh, BVSN Prasad, Ali and Gemini Kiran made it to the event.
