Chakri returns to the top with 'Chakram'

After a long gap, Chakri moves to the top slot with an interesting album in "Chakram". The second slot, strangely enough, goes to an album of rehashed tunes.

1."Chakram": Ace director Vamsi has extracted a peppy album out of young composer Chakri. "Koncham Karanga" and "Oke Oka Mata" are catchy.

2. "Sankranthi": S.A. Rajkumar's rehashed tunes get more than their due. "Elavachanamma" and "Aadi Pade" are already popular. Slow music seems to have worked for the Tamil composer.

3. "Radha Gopalam": Top composer Mani Sharma comes up with a soft and delightful album. He has made legendary singer S.P. Balasubramaniam croon all the numbers. "Grahanam Pattani" and "Maa Muddu Radhamma" stay ahead of others.

4. "Nuvvu Vasthanante Ne Vadantana": Devisri Prasad proves his calibre again with an exciting album and silences detractors who brand him a folk composer. The album offers a good mix of melodies and fast numbers. "Chandrullo Unde Kundelu" and "Something" are contrasting but catchy.

5. "Thaka Dhimi Tha": Tamil composer Iman makes a promising debut in Telugu. His album has been doing well despite new faces. "Neelo Daagina" and "Ninnu Chooste" have repeat value while other numbers are youth-oriented.
