M Saravanan screenplay and direction has influence from a Tamil film Iva Vere Madhari`. The last film release of Power star Puneeth Rajakumar was Rana Vikrama` in Pawan Wodeyar direction.

Famous music director SS Thaman has scored music for his second Kannada film, Shanmuga Sundaram is man behind camera, Subarak editing, Shobi, Shekhar dance, Stunt Shiva action, Prashanth Rajappa dialogue, Kaviraj, Chandan Shetty lyrics, Pradeep Subramanyam as executive producer and Seenu art direction forms the technical team of Chakravyuha`. It is for this film Junior NTR has rendered a song in Kannada Geleya Geleya….noted actress Kajal Agarwal shared a song with Power star Puneeth Rajakumar, Kichcha Sudeep has given the background voice for this film.

The film with the same title Chakravyuha` starring Dr Ambarish was also a super hit film. Ambika was female counterpart to Dr Ambarish in 1983. V Somashekhar directed this film and Shanker Ganesh scored music.

This Chakravyuha` stars the most successful heroine of Kannada cinema Rachita Ram in the lead with power star Puneeth Rajakumar for the first time. Rangayana Raghu, Sadhu Kokila, Arun Vijay, Abhimanyu Singh, Sithara, Bhavya are also in the cast.
