'Chakra' Trailer: Wireless network is dangerous like virus!

The trailer for 'Chakra' makes it clear that the action-thriller, based on the premise that wireless networks are a "source of danger", is a spiritual cousin of 'Abhimanyudu'. Since it's Vishal, once again, who is the saviour, the throwback is all the more striking. This is not to say that the trailer is unexciting. Far from it, it looks quite promising and sincere.
Directed by MS Ananda, this Telugu-Tamil film has the talented lead man as a military man seemingly on a mission to rid Digital India of its inherent flaws. From online e-commerce frauds to other such scams, he has got to unravel a masked mafia man behind them all.
'Jersey' heroine Shraddha Srinath deals with a "sensitive" case and her demeanour is somewhat (deliberately?) suspicious. The racy trailer comes with nail-biting moments and ends with a subtle jibe at Narendra Modi's Digital India.
Music is by Yuvan Shankar Raja and cinematography is by Balasubramaniam. Bankrolled by Vishaal Film Factory, the thriller also has Srushti Dange, Manobala and Robo Shankar in key roles.
The film's OTT release date is yet to be announced.
