Dileep and Lohithadass have come together for Chakkaramuthu.

The movie is nearing completion and the director is optimistic of releasing the movie next month.

The movie featuring Kavya Madhavan opposite Dileep has songs tuned by M Jayachandran.

On the movie, the director says, 'The preference for a Western lifestyle has created a dilemma in the minds of many Malayalees. They are confused as they are not sure of how much they want to imbibe the new culture since they are reluctant to completely give up the culture they grew up in. This inspired me to come up with Chakkaramuthu in which Dileep plays an ordinary tailor'.

Kavya Madhavan plays an undergraduate student of commerce in the movie. Lohitadass said that her character is a complex one and she has a crucial role in the story.

Get ready to welcome Chakkaramuthu and his team early next month.
