Vivek Krishna says that his hero (Shiva Krishna) in Bejawada is a hero from the word go. Unlike Nagarjuna in Shiva, who rose from being an underdog to the status of a hero, Naga Chaitanya here starts as a hero.

“Contratry to what some cinegoers and sections of the media are speculating, there is no relation whatsoever between Shiva and Bejawada. They are poles apart. It is true that my style is influenced by RGV, but he is not the only inspiration for me. I have tried to present the scenes and shots that I have been provoked by in the past in a refreshing fashion,” Vivek Krishna says.

Bejawada and Shiva are separated by more than two decades. It is natural that the idiom of Bejawada will be different from Shiva, which was made when technique was not introduced to Tollywood. The new film has been made when technological advancement is ubiquitous.
