Here arrives Chackochan, the producer at last... at long last...

It has been quite some time since we have been hearing of Chackochan`s plans to turn producer; he had announced his intentions to turn producer almost a decade ago. But things went on getting delayed and now finally it`s time for him to venture into producing movies...

Kunchacko Boban (popularly known as Chackochan) turning producer is not like any other actor turning producer. For him, it`s the continuation of a legacy... a legacy started off by his illustrious grandfather Kunchacko and carried on by his father Boban Kunchacko. Kunchacko, the legendary producer-director, had started the Udaya studios which proved instrumental in bringing Malayalam Cinema to Kerala from the studios in Chennai. Many popular and hit movies were produced under the banner of Udaya. Udaya later closed down and Chackochan, who is a very popular actor in Malayalam Cinema, has been planning the re-launch of the Udaya banner for quite some time.

So now, here comes Chackochan and Udaya with Kochavva Paulo Ayyappa Coelho`, a movie that would be directed by actor-turned-director and National Award winner Sidhartha Siva. This would be Sidhartha`s third film as director, after 101 Chodhyangal`, Zahir` and Ain`.
