CFBC bans 'A' certificate films on TV!

The Indian film industry is in a state of shock for the Central Board for Film Certification aka CBFC has banned A certificate films entirely, for broadcasting on any television channels! As per this new rule, a film certified with an A certificate by the CBFC cannot be screened on television channels.
So far, such films were censored for TV screening and were allowed to be screened after 11 pm.
But now, the CBFC has announced that it will not re-certify the films, thus meaning films with an A certificate are unfit for TV screening! This is a major shocker for producers; as a chunk of revenue from films comes from satellite rights and many films especially action entertainers have A certificates due to the violent content or so.
A ban on these films on TV is going to affect the entertainment market at many levels and directors will be forced to come out with U films, even if the script demands otherwise.
Do you agree with CBFCs decision? And what will happen to the films that boast off an A and have been already bought by TV channels for whooping prices? Only time will tell the tale.
