It is very difficult to get century pair on silver screen. We have century stars, double century stars, century films directors and producers but not a pair in Kannada cinema that has done 100 films together.

That is Rekha Das and Tennis Krishna. Remembering the 100 films acting with friend Tennis Krishna on his debut direction ‘Maththe Maththe’ media briefing Rekha Das (former wife of director Om Prakash Rao and mother of actress Shravya) turned emotional.

We have acted in 100 films in comedy pair but after 100 films we have six years gap. No one in the industry identified out hit pair said Rekha Das in choked voice. My friend Tennis Krishna is making debut as director and without forgetting invited me to perform in a role. This shows the affection of Tennis Krishna.

Tennis Krishna later speaking to this correspondent admitted that we are acting in a film after 100 films as pair. The fact is that Rekha Das is not pair to Tennis Krishna in the film ‘Maththe Maththe’. I have not told Rekha Das about this matter. She will be performing in a role but not as my pair disclosed Tennis Krishna at the audio release of his film at Green House Raj Milan.
