Close on the heels of troubles for Mumbai Xpress from Tamil Protection Movement calling for a title change, the regional censor board too seems to be posing yet another hurdle for the movie.

For Mumbai Xpress, Kamal Haasan has shot the entire movie in a digital format which was not only time-saving but cost effective.

However when the movie is completed and awaits a censor certification, the officials in Censor Board have maintained that they cannot certify the digital version and that they can view only the film reel version only.

Apparently, Kamal Haasan is now sitting down to convert the movie from digital format to film reels for obtaining certification.

Moral of the story: Even a path-breaker has to face a pothole.
