It`s quite strange that three decades back when Raj Kapoor cleverly exposed the breast of Mandakini, the heroine of RAM TERI GANGA MAILI the censor board had no issues but readers would be surprised to know that the censors have raised eyebrows over a breast scene in sex siren Sunny Leone upcoming controversial film EK PAHELI LEELA!
Yes you have read it right! The censor board has raised a hue and cry over a scene in the movie where a woman is shown rubbing colour on her breast during Holi festival!!
Confirming the fact a CBFC official confided, "We have certified the film with an A Certificate`. The only scene that was objectionable was of a woman rubbing colour on her breast during Holi festival, which we deleted. Otherwise we`ve not touched any of the scenes in the film."
What is surprising is that the movie has many hot and steamy lengthy love-making scene of Ms Leone with Rajniesh Duggal yet the censor have cleared the film without cuts. Further the scene that is deleted is not of its lead heroine Sunny Leone but of an extra!
An elated filmmaker Ahmed Khan, "They chopped off just one shot of a breast, and it isn`t Sunny Leone`s .We are very relieved. We thought there would be a lot of trouble considering Ms Leone`s reputation precedes her to the censor office."
If readers have seen RAM TERI GANGA MAILI then they may recall the scene of waterfall where Mandakini was depicted draped in white transparent sari clearly displaying her full rounded breast and nipples too! That`s not all in another scene Madakini`s breast were exposed on wide screen where she is breast feeding her baby!
Thus isn`t it odd that 30 years back when sex was taboo Censor Board was liberal while in 21st century when sex is available in our palm of our hand (Via Smart phone) Censor Board chops such scenes?
Truly there is something fishy ... One can easily smell a rat that the producers have greased the palms of Censor Board officials!!!
