2.0' has landed into a controversy. The movie allegedly talks about the negative externalities of mobile phone radiation. Cell towers, etc are shown as dangerous in the movie, reports say.
In the wake of such reports, the Cellular Association of India has written to CBFC and Ministry of Information & Broadcasting. The letter says that the Rajinikanth movie promotes “obscurantist and anti-scientific attitudes against mobile phones, towers and mobile services."
The association has alleged that the Shankar directed movie shows Electromagnetic field emissions as harmful to living creatures. So, certification should be "recalled".
