Celine Dion made a rare appearance at Resorts World to support Katy Perry's final show at her Las Vegas residency on Saturday, concluding her "Play" event.

Since disclosing a diagnosis of stiff-person syndrome in December, a neurological disorder causing muscle spasms and mobility issues, the 55-year-old singer has largely stayed away from the public eye, focusing on her health.

Attending Perry's show alongside her twin sons, Eddy and Nelson, Dion was seen dancing during the performance, sparking optimism about her potential return to the stage in 2024, as per the Las Vegas Review-Journal.

Reports indicate that representatives from AEG are hopeful about Dion's health progress for a future residency production at the theater in Las Vegas.

In other recent outings, the renowned artist enjoyed watching a hockey game between the Montreal Canadiens and the Vegas Golden Knights with her boys. She later shared her gratitude on Instagram for meeting the players after the game, expressing the moment's significance for her family.

Originally scheduled for a limited run of her "Courage World Tour" at Resorts World in 2021, Dion had to cancel several concert dates in January 2022 due to severe and persistent muscle spasms that hindered her performances.

Her subsequent diagnosis of stiff-person syndrome compelled her to postpone concerts into 2024. This rare autoimmune disorder affects the central nervous system, causing muscle rigidity and mobility challenges, severely affecting Dion's daily life, including her ability to sing.

Concerts West / AEG Presents and Resorts World Las Vegas affirmed that Dion's well-being takes precedence and mentioned they would eagerly welcome her back when she feels physically prepared to perform again.
