Celina Jaitley to the rescue of an elephant

  • IndiaGlitz, [Thursday,May 29 2014]

On behalf of PETA India, B-Town’s beauty Celina Jaitly reportedly filed a police complaint against MLA for captivating a young Elephant called Sunder.

Expressing her anger over the poor state of the animal, Celina in an interview stated, I just could not take the constant flow of merciless/heartless evidence of Sunder's state pouring in from our brave undercover investigators of Peta India.

The ‘No Entry’ actress went on to lash out, Sunder’s plight is heart rending, we are such hypocrites. On one hand we worship the elephant and on another hand we rip our God’s creation piece by piece so mercilessly and brutally. The irony in Sunders case being, he is being tortured to be trained to work for God’s own house. I am sure Gods are angry too. We had to do something and we did it. This is my way of devotion to Lord Ganpati.

The fight to save Sunder has been up from quite some time now. It was noticed and registered when Celina lent her support to PETA India to save Sunder.
