The Hindi films sizzler Celina Jaitley and veteran villain Prem Chopra are making first appearance in Kannada film titled ‘Srimathi’. Superstar Upendra and his charming wife Priyanka are in the lead roles of 'Srimathi'. This is made simultaneously in Telugu and Kannada by debutant director Sampath. Johny Lal is the cameraman of this film produced by Shanker. This is a remake of Hindi film ‘Aitraaz’ starring Akshay Kumar, Kareena Kapoor, Priyanka Chopra, Amrish Puri and others.

Celina appearing before the media at the Jade Garden on Monday afternoon felt extremely happy for the punctuality and working atmosphere in Kannada. She is doing the role what Priyanka Chopra has done in Hindi film ‘Aitraaz’. Since Amrish Puri is no more the team of ‘Srimathi’ is roping in another rabble rouser of Hindi films Prem Chopra to play opposite Celina Jaitley.

I am playing the strongest role of my career of five and half years. The former miss India Celina Jaitley remembered Bangalore because it was when her father was posted to Bangalore she won the Miss India crown. Celina mugging up lengthy dialogues in Kannada surprised everyone as the camera whirred she finished one page dialogue. She received round of applause from the unit of ‘Srimathi’.
