Actor Balu Varghese tied the knot with his long time girlfriend Aileena Catherin on Sunday. The wedding ceremony was held at the St. James Church, Cheranelloor, Kochi. The traditional Christian wedding ceremony was in the presence of close relatives and friends.

Post the church wedding, the couple hosted a grand reception in a popular hotel in Kochi. Actor Asif Ali attended the wedding with his wife Sama and children. Actors Arjun Ashokan, Jean Paul Lal, and Ganapathi also were present at the ceremony.

Balu Varghese and Aileena were in a relationship for a long time. The duo has worked together in the blockbuster movie 'Vijay Superum Pournamiyum', which featured Asif Ali and Aishwarya Lekshmi in the lead roles.

Balu proposed Aileena in the presence of family members and friends during her birthday celebration in December. Soon, the couple got officially engaged in a low-key ceremony in January. The pictures from the ceremony were viral on social media.
