Actress Priya ** has accused popular actor Dharma of blackmailing her for a year with an explicit video of her in a compromised position extorting rupees 14 lakhs.  In her complaint Priya has stated on March 1st 2017 she was asked to report to a shoot and Dharma sent his driver Naveen to pick her up and dropped her at the location in Rajarajeshwari Nagar, Bengaluru.

Dharma who was alone on the sets informed Priya that the shoot has been cancelled and offered her dinner before she could leave.  After having the food the Kannada actress passed out and when she came back to conciousness, Dhanrma allegedly showed her an explicit video of her taken when she was unconcious and threatened to show it to her family or upload it on the internet.  The dance choreographer turned villain actor then started blackmailing and extorting money and whenever Priya thought about fighting back had threatened to kill her husband and children.

The Begur Police have registered a case of extortion and criminal intimidation under sections 384 and 506, against Dharma and Naveen.  Dharma is famous  playing for Karnataka Bulldozers in the Celebrity Cricket League (CCL).
