Celebrity chef and renowned film producer Noushad passed away on Friday. He was 55. Noushad had health issues and was undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Thiruvalla. His health deteriorated on Thursday and was on ventilator support. On Friday morning, he breathed his last. He had lost his wife Sheeba (51) to a heart attack on August 12. He is survived by his 13-year-old daughter Nashwa.

Noushad is a household name among Keralites. He has anchored several cookery shows on different television channels. He is fondly called the Big Chef. Naushad owns a chain of restaurants called Naushad Big Chef (NBC) and a catering business. He is also the producer of popular movies such as ‘Kazhcha’, ‘Chattambinadu’, ‘Best Actor', ‘Lion’, ‘Payyans’ and ‘Spanish Masala’.
