Celebrating women's talent, Zee Apsara-style

Giving the fairer sex its due is the Zee Apsara Awards. In a first, these awards celebrate the talent/contribution of women achievers from the fields of media, entertainment and others.

The event was organized on April 9. The Awards event was telecast on April 23 from 4 p.m. for six hours on Zee Telugu.

Ankur Mehra, Head of Media Partnerships, South Facebook says, "We are happy to associate with Zee Telugu for Apsara Awards and are closely working with them to help create ample buzz around the program".

Zee Telugu`s Business Head Anuradha Gudur says, "This is the first time we have partnered with any platform at this level and Facebook has been extremely supportive".

Adah Sharma, Pragya Jayswal, Sayesha Singhal, Mehreen, Nora Fatehi and Miss Andhra Pradesh & Miss Asia Pacific International Srishti Vyakaranam along with singer Geeta Madhura who performed on some hit numbers.

Celebs like Khushboo, Shriya Saran, Rahul Preet, Nadhiya, Hansika, Keerthy Suresh, Anupama Paramerswaran, Cathrine Tresa, Ritu Varma, Niveda Thomas, Neerja Kona, singer and dubbing artist Chinmayi Sripada and others attended the event adding to a huge list if guests.
