Celebrating Dookudu's enormity

It was an occasion to rejoice the astonishing commercial success of Dookudu. Amidst great fanfare, the success of Dookudu was celebrated yesterday, in Vijaywada.

Dookudu has been playing in over 400 theaters across the State. The producer claims that the film has surpassed all the previously held records in about 312 centres. Dookudu has collected Rs. 101 cr as of Nov. 11, which marks the 50th day.

Be it in the number of centres in which the film was released on Sept. 23, the first-day openings (put at more than Rs. 12 cr.) or total gross and total share, Dookudu is the biggest film in the history of Telugu cinema, the has producer said.

The function was attended by Mahesh Babu, Superstar Krishna, Vijaya Nirmala and other crew members, besides K Raghavendra Rao, Sukumar, Puri Jagannath and others.
