Hunter Biden's lawyer, Abbe Lowell, has sent a cease-and-desist letter to former President Donald Trump's legal team, expressing concern over Trump's rhetoric and its potential impact on Hunter Biden and his family. Lowell specifically mentioned instances where Trump's language allegedly incited violence, including the Capitol attack and other incidents.
The letter also addressed false accusations made by Trump regarding cocaine found at the White House. Lowell clarified that Hunter Biden had no involvement in the matter and that the Biden family was not present at the White House during the relevant period.
Furthermore, Lowell highlighted Trump's posts on Truth Social, where he questioned the ownership of the cocaine. On July 5, Trump raised doubts about whether the cocaine belonged to anyone other than Hunter and Joe Biden. On July 10, Trump claimed that the Secret Service knew the true owner of the cocaine, alleging it was intended for Hunter Biden and possibly Joe Biden.
In the cease-and-desist letter, Lowell emphasized the potential harm caused by Trump's statements and urged his team to consider the legal consequences. While a response was not required, Lowell encouraged them to convey to Trump the repercussions of his incitement and its potential impact on both individuals and his own legal standing.
